Combustion Temperature

What are the different goal in the E_element and Shader of the temperatures ?
isn’t it redundant ?

Having separate temperature settings in the element and the shader is useful, because it allows the appearance to be modified without affecting the simulation, and vice versa.

The temperature parameters also have different meanings. The combustion temperature in the element specifies how much temperature is generated when the fuel is burned, so it will directly affect the temperature in the simulation, and therefore will impact other parts of the simulation such as the buoyancy, fuel ignition, etc.

The temperature parameters in the shader simply control how the final simulation temperature will be mapped to a colour. This mapping is done using a black-body spectrum, with the white balance temperature controlling the temperature for which we get white. I hope that makes sense and is helpful.
